The Albany R-3 School District has placed a bond issue concerning building renovations on the April 4 election ballot. If approved by the needed 50 plus one percent simple majority, the measure would increase the district's tax levy one dollar and twenty cents.
Albany Superintendent Erin Oligschlaeger says the improvements would help the aging high school building, along with other areas. Oligschlaeger adds the project would likely take three years to complete.
Work would begin as soon bids were accepted for construction.
