Northwest Missouri State University's Sigma Society will host a benefit concert next month.
The event, Sigma Society Tunes Out Cancer, will be held March 4 at 7 p.m. in the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.
Sigma Society Service Chair Jeannie Schleip says doors will open at 6 p.m. and adds that the event will allow patrons to have a good time, as well as show their support.
Sigma Society also requests the public contribute pictures of loved ones who are battling cancer or who have lost their battle against cancer to be included in a memorial video which will be played at the end of the concert. Tickets for the event can be purchased in advance at the information tables on the second floor of the J.W. Jones Student Union on the Northwest campus or at the door the day of the event.
