The Northwest Missouri State University School of Agriculture Sciences recently recieved two grants totallying $225,000 from the United States Department of Agriculture Non-Land Grant Colleges of Agriculture Program and the Missouri Agriculture Foundation.
Director of the School of Agriculture Sciences Rod Barr believes the grants will help further expose students to important parts of the agriculture industry. In the last five years the School of Agricultural Sciences has experienced a rapid enrollement growth of 30 percent, with 12 percent of the University's undergraduate population enrolled in its programs.
