Northwest Missouri State University will offer emergency response training next month.
The University's Emergency and Disaster Management program is inviting students, employees, and community members to take part in Community Emergency Response Team or CERT training. CERT is a nationwide program sponsored by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The course is designed to educate citizens about preparation for disasters and response to disasters.
The course will take place Mar. 9-12 in Room 3520 of the Garret Strong Science Building. Training times are Mar. 9 and 10 from 6 to 10 p.m., and Mar. 11 and 12 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
