Reopening of Savannah branch of Rolling Hills Library to be delayed

The Savannah branch of Rolling Hills Library is having its reopening date pushed back. The branch has been closed since Jan. 7 and was scheduled to reopen Feb. 11 but will now open Feb. 18. Rolling Hills Public Relations Specialist Alan Stolfus says the reopening is being pushed back to give everyone involved sufficient time to make sure everything is ready for the Grand Reopening.

Stolfus says the library is being remodeled thanks to two donations that paid for about 75 percent of the cost. During the remodeling the library bookmobile will be parked at the Savannah branch from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursdays so patrons can pick up items they have placed on hold.
