A national award-winning speaker visited the campus of Northwest Missouri State University Wednesday night.
Quadruple congenital amputee Kyle Maynard is a motivational speaker, author, entrepreneur and athlete. He has climbed two mountains over nineteen thousand feet high and has won two ESPY awards. Maynard says he is driven by nature and enjoys conquering his limitations through exploration. He encourages everyone to try new things, no matter the potential of failure.
Maynard won his ESPY awards for Best Male Athlete with a Disability in 2004 and 2012.
The Northwest Student Activites Council hosted Maynard at the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts.
