The Bearcat Coaches Show returned to Carson Sports Grille in downtown Maryville Wednesday night for the first time in three weeks and featured a variety of Northwest sports that are in action or just getting started up for the spring season.

The Northwest Track & Field team has had an eventful indoor season already with a pair of home meets for the first time ever, and some standout performances throughout. This weekend, the Bearcats are gearing up for another meet at the Hughes Fieldhouse -- the Bearcat Invite gets underway at 1pm Friday. Head coach Brandon Masters and senior Kevin Schultz joined the show to discuss the season and what to expect this weekend.

Northwest Missouri State softball will take the diamond for the first time this season on Saturday in the Arkansas Monticello Tournament in Bentonville, Arkansas. Ryan Anderson's squad is looking to build off a 27-19 campaign in 2018. He spoke with John Coffey on the Bearcat Coaches Show about the upcoming season Wednesday evening.

The Bearcat tennis season is just a couple weeks away, and the all-time leader in wins in MIAA history, Mark Rosewell,  is gearing up for 35th season at Northwest Missouri State. It was also announced earlier this year that the tennis complex will be renamed after the coach later this spring: The Frank Grube Courts at the Mark Rosewell Tennis Complex. Roswell sat down with Coffey for the show.
