Northwest 63, Maryville University 83

Northwest Missouri State women's basketball struggled to slow down Maryville University Monday night in an 83-63 loss to the Saints at Bearcat Arena.

Maryville jumped ahead of Northwest 21-9 at the end of the first quarter, and led by 18 at halftime.

The 'Cats finished with three players in double figures led by Tanya Meyer's 16 points. Meyer only played 21 minutes as she battled foul trouble throughout the evening, and eventually fouling out.

Jaelyn Haggard added 11 points, and Mallory McConkey finished with 10 points.
