March Madness will be in full swing this weekend as Northwest Missouri State University hosts the NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament for the second consecutive year. The weekend also brings out the first homestand for the Bearcat baseball team as they continue to take the MIAA by storm. This week's Bearcat Coaches Show covers all the bases as Maryville gets set for a busy weekend of Northwest sports.

Off to a 5-1 start in conference play, Northwest welcomes Northeastern State to town for a doubleheader Friday, and a single game Saturday. Head coach Darin Loe and junior shortstop Logan Rycraft joined the show to discuss the hot start, and the weekend series against the Riverhawks.

Northwest men's basketball wrapped up the MIAA Tournament Championship last Sunday, and now sets its sights on the NCAA Central Region Tournament. Head coach Ben McCollum and sophomore Ryan Welty spoke with John Coffey about the upcoming tournament and the opening battle with Minnesota State.
