vs. Texas A&M-Kingsville

The Northwest Missouri State Bearcat Bearcat football team opens up the season Thursday night when they host Texas A&M-Kingsville in a battle of nationally-ranked teams. Northwest is first in this week's AFCA Division II Top 25 and Texas A&M-Kingsville is 14th. Each week KXCV/KRNW's Sports Director John Coffey interviews Bearcat Head Coach Mel Tjeersdma at Maryville's Hy-Vee. The interview is underwritten by Maryville's Hy-Vee located at 1217 South Main. Coach Tjeerdsma this week talks about the fall training camp and Thursday's game with the Javalinas.
