This year marks the 75th anniversary since the USS Missouri was launched.
In segment one of this month’s All Things Northwest, guests include Michael A. Carr, president & CEO of the Battleship Missouri Memorial Association and Missouri Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe who will discuss the rich naval history of the USS Missouri, the Japanese surrender on its deck in September 1945, and the recently held 75th anniversary celebration of its launch.
Segment two will feature Allison Hoffman, director of academic success and retention at Northwest Missouri State University. Hoffman joins the program to share student success initiatives, discuss the university's participation in the AASCU project, and talk about how Northwest continues to lead the way.
