Willis

MOUND CITY, MO (2008-09-30) Teachers, home schoolers and college students have a chance to learn more about wildlife education this weekend.

Teachers, home schoolers and college students have a chance to learn more about wildlife education this weekend.
Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge in Mound City, Missouri, will host the project "wet' and project "wild" teacher workshops this Saturday through Sunday from eight in the morning until five in the evening on both days.
Refuge park ranger Charles Marshall says Squaw Creek is an ideal place to hold the workshop.
Marshall says the program is also offering one hour of graduate credit in cooperation with Northwest Missouri State University. Participants must attend both days for full credit.
Marshall says they've extended the registration deadline to tomorrow to accommodate for any last-minute participants.
Anyone interested in attending can call Adam Bransgaard at 660-646-6122.
