ST. JOSEPH, MO (2008-09-26) Washington's top political "odd couple" is in St. Joseph this week.

Washington's top political "odd couple" is in St. Joseph this week. Political advisors and commentators James Carville - a democrat - and Mary Matalin - a republican - will both speak at Missouri Western State University's critical issues convocation tomorrow morning at 9:30.

MWSU Marketing director Kent Heier, says the couple will focus on national issues - particularly the presidential race.

Heier says the community is invited to attend.

Carville and Matalin are also speaking at the convocation dinner tonight. That event sold out two weeks before the reservation deadline.
