The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced a resurfacing project set to begin Monday, September 16 on Interstate 35.
The 5.8 million dollar project was awarded to Herzog Contracting Company to resurface almost 15 miles of I-35 near Cameron. Motorists may have noticed signs already being placed for the work zone. On Monday at 6 am, I-35 northbound will be reduced to one lane in two-to-four mile sections. Work on the northbound lanes should be complete by December 1, weather permitting, with work on the southbound lanes set to begin in Spring of next year.
