Two Bethany men arraigned in connection to Friday incident

NODAWAY COUNTY, MO (2012-09-19)

The 2 Bethany, Missouri men accused of attacking a Northwest Missouri State student early Friday morning appeared for arraignment today in Nodaway County Circuit Court Division Two before Judge Glenn Dieterich.

31 year old Kevin Dell Mooney was bound over for re-appearance on October 16th at 9 am while a Preliminary Hearing was set for 23 year old Tony-M-Overlin for November 6th at 2:30 pm. Mooney and Overlin are charged with second degree murder in connection with the death of 21 year old Tomarken Smith of St. Louis following an incident outside a Maryville bar near the corner of 4th and Market.
