Maryville Councilman on Budget

The Maryville City Council approved a priority-based budget during last night's meeting.

Councilman Jeff Funston served on the Council in the 1970's and again in the 90's. Funston says he's impressed with the way this year's budget was put together compared to his previous experience on the Council.

The Maryville City Council approved a nearly 43.5 million dollar balanced budget which includes several capitol improvement projects including upgrades to Depot and Munn Streets.
