Highway Patrol Radio Coverage Survey

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop H, headquartered in St. Joseph, has been conducting a radio survey over the past few months to check patrol radio effectiveness in various locations.

Sergeant Sheldon Lyons says the public shouldn't be concerned if they observe any unmarked vehicles on country roads.

The vehicles are occupied by 1 Patrol member or a retired Patrol employee with 2 employees of the Motorola Company. Lyons anticipates the survey to be completed in the next couple of months.
