Strength in numbers is the approach being taken by one northwest Missouri group striving to improve the future.

The Community Alliance of St. Joseph is made up of 7 partner agencies, focusing on educational opportunities, livability, and growth for citizens through job creation. Alliance director Steve Johnston says the hospital, chamber, county, schools and others are helping each other moving forward.

The Community Alliance of St. Joseph is also instrumental in the regional lobbying effort "Great Northwest Day" at the state capitol.
