Although not part of this week's special session, Missouri lawmakers are continuing to work on the state's education funding.
The state set up a new funding formula in 2005 with the intent of phasing it in over 7 years. One of the issues involved is limited dollars going to both urban and rural schools across the state. But even a St. Louis senator, Robin Jones, says there's no real difference between urban and rural education.
