A new survey out shows more of Missouri's toddlers are getting all their needed vaccinations.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services says Missouri children under the age of 3 getting the full spectrum of recommended vaccinations rose from a low of 56% in 2009, the lowest in the nation, up to 68% last year. Missouri Health Department director Margaret Donnelly credits the improvement to stronger legislation and better outreach and online tracking.
Donnelly says show-me-vax is helping providers and childcare facilities keep track of immunizations and helps remind parents when children are due for their next dose.© Copyright, KXCV
