MARCELINE, MO (2011-09-01)
Governor Nixon focused on a Marceline business yesterday as an example of what could be helped if lawmakers pass a pro-jobs package during next week's special session.
The governor toured Moore Fans as proof Missouri businesses work. Moore employs 55 people and says about 40% of its sales are exports. That's the goal of the "Made in Missouri" jobs package lawmakers will be debating next week which is a series of proposal to create jobs and expand markets for Missouri-made products. State officials are also wanting to put special emphasis on science and technology jobs in the state, and passing tax credit reform to ensure financial responsibility.
