Flu season has arrived and the Nodaway County Health Department is taking action.

Today adults can walk in between 9 and 4 to get a flu shot. The department is also holding a children's clinic this Saturday from 9 to 5, children must make an appointment to attend. Administrator of Nodaway County Health Department, Della Rhoades says it is important for people to get a flu shot each year.

Rhoades also recommends washing your hands and keeping them sanitized to help fight off germs.
