Starting this week, FEMA is holding a series of workshops in Richardson and Nemaha counties to help Nebraskans recover from Missouri River Flooding.
The specialists will explain techniques to lessen damage to homes, tips on retrofitting buildings and elevating utilities, and other information. The workshops are set up at three home improvement stores and open to the public. Specialists are available from 9 in the morning until 6:30 each day. The first is today and tomorrow in Nebraska City at Watkins True Value. On Wednesday and Thursday They will be in Auburn at the Orschlen farm and home. And on Friday they will be at Orshlen's in Falls City.
