The Nodaway Humane Society is celebrating October as national adopt a dog month.

The Nodaway Humane society is selling all dogs and puppies for half price. Cindy Nelson, the shelter director explains everything that is included.

Other events included for this month are pancakes for paws coming up Tuesday Oct. 11 from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the County Senior Center.
