Ten Mile Enforcement

ST. JOSEPH, MO (2010-09-09) The ten mile trooper enforcement effort over the Labor Day Holiday is being credited with keeping a lot of people safe and giving a lot of people warnings.

The Highway Patrol's effort to place troopers every 10 miles on I-29 near St. Joseph netted 404 warnings. Troopers also found 1 Driving While Intoxicated driver nearly 150 speeders, 15 seat belt violations, 4 uninsured motorists, and 5 people wanted on misdemeanor warrants.
