ST. JOSEPH, MO (2010-09-07) The St. Joseph City council was off yesterday as well, so It's back to work tonight.
At the regular meeting members are expected to amend the Police Department budget to add $13,000 for repairs of the radio system shared by the city of St. Joseph, Buchanan County, and Heartland Health Systems. The Council is also expected to adopt annual revisions to the city's personnel manual, purchase a vehicle and general liability insurance for $135,000, and sign off on a memorandum of understanding with the county, the YMCA and the city for a new city park and YMCA facility on land owned by Buchanan County. The St. Joseph city council meeting starts tonight at 7at City Hall.
