NEBRASKA CITY, NE (2010-09-07) The Nebraska City council meeting is tonight.

On the agenda is a public hearing for the proposed fiscal budget as well as setting the final tax rate. The council is also expected to approve an additional 1% increase in restricted funds use for Nebraska City Government for the upcoming fiscal year. And members will consider a downtown overlay district which would provide guidance on construction and renovations in downtown. The Nebraska City council meeting starts tonight at 6.
