LIVINGSTON COUNTY, MO (2010-09-28) Two Livingston County residents are arrested after an apparent dispute with gunshots.
But once police arrive for the commotion, they also reportedly discover a marijuana growing operation. The Livingston County Sheriff's Office says 20 year old Richard Stumph and 19 year old Ashley Daniels were the suspects after the sheriff, deputies, and 2 highway patrol troopers responded to the scene at a house in Bedford, Missouri. Investigators say the two were arguing over housekeeping, when Stumph allegedly took a high powered rifle and shot twice outside the home. After the two were arrested, officers say they seized from the home guns, ammunition, pills, marijuana plants, lab tools, and detailed information on growing pot. The two suspects face a variety of felony drug charges, unlawful use of a weapon and a misdemeanor of tampering with evidence. They are scheduled to be in court tomorrow.
