ST. JOSEPH, MO (2010-09-15) Customers of Missouri Gas Energy will be seeing their bills go up starting this week.
The good news: It won't be by much. State regulators have approved a new surcharge that will average about 21 cents extra each month. The charge is to pay for upgrades to Missouri Gas Energy's operations which supply natural gas to St. Joseph and 154 other western Missouri communities. The new charge goes into effect starting Saturday.
