MARYVILLE, MO (2010-09-13) The widow of Linn County's late public administrator has been appointed to fill his seat.

Missouri governor Nixon on Friday picked Beverly Duncan of Brookfield to succeed her husband Leroy, who died last month while still the County's public administrator. Beverly is a paralegal for the Brookfield law firm Chapman, Cowherd, and Turner. She's also served on the Linn County ambulance board until 2008.
