MARYVILLE, MO (2010-09-24) Monday kicks off this season's "distinguished lecture series" in Maryville.

The university's series this year features a socially conscious shoe company entrepreneur, online columnist, the daughter of senator John McCain, and others. Distinguished lecture series organizer angel McAdams prescott says the lecture line up at Northwest is targeted toward making the lectures relevant to learning. The distinguished lecture series starts Monday night at 8 at the Charles Johnson Theater with online columnist Anya Kamenetz.
