CHILLICOTHE, MO (2010-09-29) Chillicothe Police confirm they have launched a homicide investigation in the death of a 19 year old man there.

Police say the body of Travis Swank was found in a residence in the 200 block of Walnut Street on Sunday. Since they are waiting autopsy results investigators are still not ruling his death as a homicide, but say they are proceeding with a murder investigation. The Chillicothe police also say evidence was taken from the scene and they are following upon various leads. Anyone with information or tips is asked to call Chillicothe Police Department that number is 646-2121.
