CHILLICOTHE, MO (2010-09-07) Hoping to see more green, green fees are changing at the city owned golf course in Chillicothe.
The manager says it's to encourage more people to play. Pro-rated season passes will now be offered as one time purchases. Following one year after purchase, golfers will be allowed to renew the pass at full price. Officials say the move is to encourage golfers who move into the city mid season to still get a season pass. Restricted summer season passes are now also being offered for high school golfers, and junior green fees are going in place for kids ages 13 and younger.
