ST. JOSEPH, MO (2010-09-27) Low income families will soon have an easier time getting their children to and from the doctor.
The community action partnership of St. Joseph has received $16,000 from the Harold Dugdale Charitable Trust to purchase a van to take kids to and from appointments. Dave Leyland of the community action partnership says he expects a large need. The transportation services are available to kids enrolled in the head start program.
