MARYVILLE, MO (2010-09-14) New works of public art are unveiled in Maryville.
They are at the university's Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Vladimir Younger is the winning university student whose untitled sculpture now stands at the entrance of the center. He says the building's minimalist and high tech steel and glass architecture inspired his piece. The other art is a series of technology based paintings. Officials with the university say the pieces at the business incubator exhibit the intersection of art and science much like Da Vinci's examples more than 400 years ago.
