MARYVILLE, MO (2010-09-23) The business incubator building in Maryville wins a state award for its architectural design.
The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is recognized with the "Award for Excellence in Architecture" from the Kansas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The futuristic glass and steel one story structure covers nearly 47,000 saure feet, and is designed with several environmentally friendly features while housing start up companies being created in Maryville. Located on the campus of Northwest Missouri State University, the facility is also used as classroom and lab space by science students as well as a meeting facility by community groups.
