NODAWAY COUNTY, MO (2010-09-06) The New Nodaway Humane Society has launched its membership drive.

The organization is looking for animal lovers to join in promoting positive animal welfare. About 22,000 residents live in Nodaway County, but the Humane Society has just about 150 members. Shelter director Cindy Nelson says every member makes a difference in their mission. All membership dues go to suport the animal shelter in Maryville and care of the animals.
