ST. JOSEPH, MO (2009-09-29) St. Joseph's Voice of our past event brings some of the area's most prominent past residents back for one night with the help of some props and actors.
The event, a part the St. Joseph Museums incorporated schedule, takes place on October 29th and 30th. The Tour begins with Dr. George Catlett, a prominent confederate surgeon and the first superintendent of the State Lunatic Asylum No. 2. Then participants will travel to Mount Mora Cemetery on a guided tour with Mrs. Kemper. Kathey Reno of the St. Joseph Museums said that the tours are not frightening but offer a look at the past of the area. Space is limited for the tours and tickets can be purchased at St. Joseph Museums, Incorporated, 3406 Frederick Avenue. For more information call 816-232-8471.
