SAVANNAH, MO (2009-09-10) The Savannah City Council sets the Tax Rate.

Members voted to set the General Rate at $0.46 per $100 of assessed valuation, that's about a penny higher than last year. The Parks and Recreation Rate is now at just over $0.29, the rate for Debt Services is $0.14. The Total Tax Rate for Savannah Citizens will now be just over $0.89 per $100 of valuation, that's about a penny higher than last year as well.
