MARYVILLE, MO (2009-09-29) Once cent turns into more than a thousand dollars during this year's Penny Wars.

The results are in from the contest, which involved tailgaters at this years' arrowhead game between Northwest and Pittsburgh State donating spare change.

The Result: $1,111 raised.

That crushes all previous years, which averaged around $400. The money goest to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Tennessee.
