Nursing Scholarships

ST. JOSEPH, MO (2009-09-29) More than $22,000 have been given out to regional residents for Nursing Scholarships.

It's part of the Heartland Foundation in St. Joseph Annual Scholarship Awards. Among the winners of the 28 scholarships awarded are four Doris Hines Scholarships worth $2500 each. They're to be given to Heartland Health Nurses Pursuing a degree beyond the Bachelor's level. This year's recipients are Linda Gerhardt, Christi Howard, Cassey Parman, and Tiffany Vanderstrasse. Two recipients also have received the Micosay Scholarship each worth a $1,000 those two are Zachary Kerns and Christopher Thomas.
