MOUND CITY, MO (2009-09-01) Mound City Officials are moving forward on getting several grants.

They also set levies. Mound City's General Revenue Levy is now set at $0.73 per $100 of assessed evaluation. The Livrary Levy is at $0.40 and They Health Levy at $0.15. This makes the Total Levy for Mound City Residence just over a $1.65 per $100. Board Members also agreed to hire legal counsel to help pursue grants to buy a new warning siren for the city, and passed a notice to proceed on the Chip-Seal Project. They also heard a citizen's concern on handicapped access to the New Health Clinic and having no sidewalks along the highway to the new site.
