MOUND CITY, MO (2009-09-15) Mound City is moving forward on mapping its underground utilities.
Consultants from Midland GIS Solutions proposed a $22,000 package at the recent Board of Aldermen meeting. This would cover the expense of locating and mapping manholes, fire hydrants, meters, and valves. The Mound City Board is reviewing the costs and figuring out if it can fit in the current budget. Members also have scheduled Mound City's fall Clean-Up Day for October 4th from 1-3 at the Pool parking lot.
