BUCHANAN COUNTY, MO (2009-08-07) Missouri Highway Patrol Troop H will be conducting various operations to increase the safety of travelers in the region.

According to Captain Duane L. Robinson (Troop H's Commanding Officer) a sobriety checkpoint will be conducted in Buchanan County. During a sobriety checkpoint the patrol checks every driver in that particular area to ensure they are sober. Hazardous moving vehicle operations will be conducted in Grundy, Harrison and Livingston Counties. The operations are designed to target vehicles that are being operated in a hazardoucs manner. Troop H will conduct all of these operations sometime this month.
