MARYVILLE, MO (2008-10-10) A Brownville tradition hopes to be better than ever this year with special events planned for this years old time autumn.
With a civil war re-enactment with realistic weaponry, uniforms, and more scheduled for this Saturday and Sunday, and the region's most important artist painting through the village, this years event is shaping up to be something spectacular.
Spokesperson for the Brownville Historical Society, Nora Tallmon, says that some of the actors and artist are already setting up for this weekend.
Tallmon adds there will be historic museums, relevant gallery exhibits, vendors, as well as boat rides on the "Spirit of Brownville" from 3-4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
