MARYVILLE, MO (2008-10-30) Thirteen people. That's the number chosen to help search for the next president of Northwest Missouri State University.
Such an effort hasn't happened in nearly a quarter decade- that's when retiring president doctor dean hubbard was hired.
The President of the Board of Regents, Bill Loch, will oversee the group of 13.
Others include 3 faculty members, the Student Senate President, members of the support staff and professional staff, the university's foundation, alumni, and a city council member.
No date has been set for the committee's first meeting, although the university has already contacted several professional search firms to start the process.
