Every year as Halloween approaches safety always becomes a concern.

Director of Maryville Public Safety, Keith Wood says parents should make sure their children will be visible to motorists while trick or treating.

Wood adds parents should also inspect candy or other items the children receive to make sure the candy has not been tampered with.
