With Hurricane Sandy moving its way through the northeast United States, 7% of the country's oil production will essentially shut down due to weather.
With this prospect, the chances of gas prices rising in the northeastern states are sure to rise. Executive Director of Missouri Petroleum Marketer's and Convenience Store Association Ronald Leon, however, says the effects cannot be confined to the northeast alone.
Leon says the association is continuing its investigation into how much the damages of Hurricane Sandy will affect gas prices.© Copyright, KXCV
