Hurricane Sandy's path of destruction through the east coast raises questions about our region's severe weather threat.

Lead Forecaster for the National Weather Service in the Kansas City area, Evan Bookfinder, wishes to reassure the population.

Bookfinder says the hurricane's weather effects seem to be isolated to the east coast, but warns those in the eastern Midwest to possibly experience some rising water from rivers.
