NODAWAY COUNTY, MO (2012-10-22)
The flu season will be here soon and many health agencies are gearing up by offering flu shots for people looking to get immunized before the worst of the season hits.
Administrator of the Nodaway County Health, Center Della Rhodes, says the Center for Disease Control recommends anyone age six months and older get a flu shot.
Rhodes adds the Nodaway County Health Center is trying something new this year to make flu shots more accessible to the public. On election day, her staff will be located at the polling site located at the Laura Street Baptist Church giving flu shots to those interested after they cast their ballots.Rhodes says anyone needing more information about this year's flu shot should contact her office in Maryville.© Copyright, KXCV
